Holiday Season

We had a great time this Christmas with this being Megans first Christmas! It was a busy one but she got a ton of great stuff!!

We took her to see Santa and boy that was an ordeal lets just say 3 different times trying to get in line and what turn out to be an all afternoon affair we finally got to see Santa! All Megan wanted to do was play with his coat and his beard and she actually got upset with use when we tried to get her to look at us and smile!

Christmas Eve we went to my parents as always and had a great time with everyone! Megan opened her first present with moma's help and had the official bow on head picture that everyone takes with their child and I must say she is too adorable! Megan recieved some clothes, toys, books, her first cabbage patch doll, and her first car from her Grandaddy and GiGi :) A pink cadillac/bicycle :) She loves it already even though she is a little too small for it!



Christmas day we waited and had Santa at my parents house that morning and Meggie loved everything that Santa brought her! She recieved some bath toys, big girl towels, big girl plates and eating utensils, a fuzzy blanket, and some more pacis :)

After breakfast we went to my grandmas and had a delicious lunch and opened presents with my dad's side of the family. Then we went to my other grandma's and had a great supper and opened presents with my mom's side of the family. There Megan was given a stroller from Santa aka Grandma LeLe which she has been pushing all around our den! She recieved some more toys, clothes, and lots of love!

We got up early the next morning and headed to Lexington to spend the day with Nana aka Brian's mom and Aunt Liz and her family! The kids had a blast!!! Noah loved playing with his trains! Megan got some really cool clothes and a Bunny from Nana! She loves her bunny and sleeps with it all the time! She also loves her farm from her aunt and uncle and I keep finding farm animals everywhere! (pics to come later)

While we were at Nana's Megan stood up for a few seconds and ever since it is her favorite thing to do now! She is all the time standing up and bouncing! She has taken one step 6 times now but falls over as soon as she does! I give her a few weeks and she is gonna be walking! :( This makes me sad because my little baby is changing to my little girl not baby very quickly!

For New Years Eve newly engaged Aunt Stacy and Uncle Scott came over! We had a great time watching football, playing wii, and waiting for the ball to drop! Megan was enjoying the excitement and did not want to go to sleep! In fact she made it all the way to 11:30 but couldn't stand it anymore! (forgot to use my camera)

My little one is a little more than a month from being a year old! I've already started planning her birthday party and can't wait to celebrate this great time with her :) Until next time....
