I now have a full size kiddy kitchen in the corner of my den where she spends most of her time! She has a better closet than I could ever dream of having! LOVES to read and has a ton of new books to bring to me to read though we never make it past about page 5!
Oh how I love this time oh year!!!! The house is all decorated and smelling good with the tree! Megan helped me make sugar cookies for her first Christmas party at school! She has gone Christmas shopping with me and behaved really well! But, we have had one problem! Megan loves the cartoon Santa and the idea of Santa but a real Santa no way!!!! The first time we saw Santa she cried her and screamed! The only way she would sit on his lap was if I would. The second time he came to her Christmas party and she cried and hung on to me that it felt like it would take a crow bar to remove her. So, because of this we have no pictures of just her and Santa this year!
We have been a very busy family lately! Work has had me going going going so I haven't been on the computer as much as I use to :( Brian had to go to Orlando for work for two weeks so I used some frequent flyer miles to go so him and take the opportunity to go to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot :) It was great to see everything all decorated for the fall!
We took Megan to the fair Saturday afternoon and she had a great time. She had to see the animals twice! She wanted to ride the rides but their were only 2 rides she could ride (only 32" tall) and the lines were extremely long!
Trick or Treating is her new favorite :) It took her a couple of minutes but when she got into it she had a blast. She had a little trouble saying trick or treat but no problem with Thank You and Bye Bye! It was too cute but sad because she is getting so big so fast!
And so one of my favorite times of the year has begun in a great way :) The Gamecocks one their first game!!! I had been planning on getting Megan her first cheerleading outfit but her GiGi and Aunt Stacy beat me too it :) She has learned to say Go Cocks and Cocky which is too cute! Now I need to get her a stuffed Cocky :) Lets hope we can do the same thing from last weekend again this weekend with Georgia!!!! Gotta love football :)
Its hard to believe my child and how big she has gotten lately! Its been awhile since my last post (Sorry Lori!!!) Megan is a busy bee! She is walking everywhere crawling up the stairs, dancing when she hears music, and trying to climb up on all of the furniture :) Talking up a storm!!! She is in the repeat everything you say stage which is really cute but it only happens when she wants to do it! This child has determination and attitude and its gonna happen when she wants it to and no one else! Lord help me when she is a teenager!!!! She knows alot of words but would rather babble and babbles constantly! As soon as she turns this babbling into talking buddy I'm in forever! She will be talking forever. Right now she is pretty good with all of the family memebers names unless they are long ones so they get nick names :) She is down to one nap a day but she makes it a good 2-3 hour one. 
We are DONE with bottles!! Have been for about a month but alas me and my non posting. I decided when I was done with work we were gonna tackle the bottles and the pacis. Bottles actually left right before school got out. It was a rough few days but now the are gone which is great! Now on to the pacis. This is gonna be a lot harder because she LOVES her pacis. But, only when she is sleepy its not a all day everyday need a paci deal with her.
Wow I can't believe a year has flown by already!!! Megan's birthday was last Thursday (2/11) and we had a pretty good day! Actually everything was great except that Megan got sick with a virus on her birthday :( But we had a family celebration that day with cake and all! Megan had a blast even though she didn't feel good!
Sunday we had her birthday blow out :) We had it at my parents house in Lone Star so that everyone could fit comfortably!!! Brian's family, my mom's family, stepmoms family, and dad's family! Talk about a pact house! It was great though!!! We had burgers, and baked beans, slaw, chips, and cake :) Megan recieved alot of great gifts!!! She got a pool for the backyard, a slide, a four wheeler, a sandbox, some books, and TONS of really cute clothes!! She is all decked out for the spring and summer! I am so ready for it to warm up so she can wear her new clothes and play with her toys! Her most favorite gifts were her red wagon and her rocking chair! She giggles, screams, and smiles when she is in them!!
Christmas Eve we went to my parents as always and had a great time with everyone! Megan opened her first present with moma's help and had the official bow on head picture that everyone takes with their child and I must say she is too adorable! Megan recieved some clothes, toys, books, her first cabbage patch doll, and her first car from her Grandaddy and GiGi :) A pink cadillac/bicycle :) She loves it already even though she is a little too small for it!
Christmas day we waited and had Santa at my parents house that morning and Meggie loved everything that Santa brought her! She recieved some bath toys, big girl towels, big girl plates and eating utensils, a fuzzy blanket, and some more pacis :)
