Christmas 4 and the SNOW

Sunday morning we waited and waited on the SNOW! It has snowed two years in a row! Both years of little Meggie's life! Last year she hated it! This year she loved it and ran around playing! Wish it would have stuck though :(

With the snow came her cousins Noah and Juliana and Aunt Wizzybef and Nana (Brian's Mom).  They came to celebrate Christmas with us :) We had a great time eating and opening presents! Megan recieved some crayons and coloring books which she loves to color!!! She also got the bed, some clothes, and the dresser for Cinderella! She loves her shoes so when Nana gave her some new shoes she was very happy and loves wearing them!

After opening presents we went outside and played in the snow with Noahs new soccer ball :) Then we came in and watched movies while me and Nana took down the Christmas tree since I would  be out of town for the next 3 days! I then got my things together and left to go to Savannah while Megan stayed and played with her cousins!!!

Christmas

Megan had a busy and wonderful Christmas!!! Christmas Eve we went to my Dad and Mom's and she had a blast! She was opening presents for everyone! She loved her Wocket, her nikes, tea sets, clothes, books, doll, and kitchen she got from her Aunts, Uncles, Great Grandmas, Cousins, and GiGi (My mom) and Pop Pop (My Dad) and her Aunt Tacy, Uncie Cott, Uncie Shane, and Aunt Kim!  She was so tired when we left she fell asleep pretty quickly after we left.  When we got home Brian and I helped Santa Clause get all of her stuff ready  and put together her kitchen so she could play when she woke up!


Christmas morning all you hear was oooooohhhhh and laughing! She picked up everything she got and showed it to mom and dad then went to town playing with her kitchen while I cooked breakfast. She played with Cinderella and her Micky's cooking them food and then played some more with her other toys :) She didn't want to eat or take a bath for playing with her new stuff!

Then we got dressed and headed to Grandma Marjorie! She was so excited that she didn't take a nap! Well, that showed when we got to grandma's she wasn't as big into presents as she was the night before but she loved her play food and clothes she received!

We left my grandma's and rode around until she fell asleep then headed to my Grandma Patsy's where she took a good nap! There we open presents and she was back into it a little more since she had her nap! She had a great time opening her shopping cart, more play food :), table and chairs, elf on a shelf, books, and clothes she got from her LeLe (My mom), LaLe (Laurel my cousin), aunts, uncles, and Grandma Patsy :)  Kim's parents also gave her a ribbon holder which we needed badly since she will now wear hair bows!

I now have a full size kiddy kitchen in the corner of my den where she spends most of her time! She has a better closet than I could ever dream of having! LOVES to read and has a ton of new books to bring to me to read though we never make it past about page 5!

Christmas Break

I have enjoyed being home with Megan this past few days!! My child is really hilarious! Yesterday she wanted to put on make up like mommy so she grabbed my mascara when I wasn't looking and gave herself a raccoon eye.  Yes I have pictures! But on my camera which I need to get put on my computer.  Today she told me that her Micky Mouse had a stinky and needed his diaper changed which went "Micky stinky; diaper." We are having the front and back door replaced today so she kept sneaking over to see what the guys were doing and would run back to me laughing :)

Her new favorite thing to do is color! She gets her crayons (which she snapped them all in half yesterday) and draws all over the computer paper while sitting at the kitchen table! This keeps her quite entertained :) Which has helped me while I've been baking cakes for the neighbors! I've come to the realization that she needs coloring books and big crayons that she can't break!

She has been a very well behaved and funny little girl while I have been finishing up last minute Christmas things!!!! I am so gonna miss her when I have to go back to work but Spring Break in April will be here before you know it then summer! Its crazy how fast this year has gone by!!!! Now to plan her 2nd birthday party! I can't believe she is already 2 my how your life goes by faster the older you get!!!

All ready for Christmas!

 Oh how I love this time oh year!!!! The house is all decorated and smelling good with the tree! Megan helped me make sugar cookies for her first Christmas party at school!  She has gone Christmas shopping with me and behaved really well! But, we have had one problem! Megan loves the cartoon Santa and the idea of Santa but a real Santa no way!!!! The first time we saw Santa she cried her and screamed! The only way she would sit on his lap was if I would.  The second time he came to her Christmas party and she cried and hung on to me that it felt like it would take a crow bar to remove her.  So, because of this we have no pictures of just her and Santa this year!

 I am too excited for the next few weeks!!! This week I get to stay home with my little one and just enjoy her :) Then Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after I can not wait to see her in action!  She helped "Aunt" Kim open hers and Uncle Shane's engagement presents last weekend and had a great time doing so!!

Megan has been talking so well lately!! She will repeat everything you say and mimic what you do! Which sometimes isn't so good hahaha! Her pop pop loves to tell her bye darlin and listening to her repeat it :)

She is getting to be quite the little helper with picking up her toys and putting them back, trying to help me with the laundry (which usually makes it worse but doesn't bother me one bit), and putting the trash in the trash can!  She loves apple juice, milk, water, tea, and Diet Coke (thanks to pop pop)! She will eat her veggies sometimes and some meat sometimes but she loves cheese and fruit!

I am loving watching her grow but wish I could slow her down...
